San Diego Commercial EV Charger Installation

Adding EV Chargers to multi-use areas such as Grocery Stores, Shopping Malls, a Health Campus, the Workplace or any public use area is a key factor in transitioning from fossil fuel powered vehicles to clean, renewable Electric Vehicles. Commercial charging requires coordination and planning with the city, utility and property management. New Leaf can help you navigate all aspects of the project to make sure the project finishes above expectations!

Commercial EV Chargers can be connected to the internet and allow restricted access to the “In-Network” user. The “In-Network” user’s key fob can be linked to a monthly subscription, pay as you go or other forms of payment. Of course, you can offer free public charging that allows the general public free charging without any sort of membership or pay as you go fees. This method is commonly referred to as “Out-of-Network” EV Charging.

DC Fast Charging (Level 3):
The quickest of them all! A high-powered Level 3 charger is capable of charging your EV battery up to 80% in about 25 minutes or less. Our team is certified to install and service the AeroVironment EV-50, the Nissan DCQC and the ABB Terra 53. These chargers are compatible with any EV with a CHAdeMO or CCS quick charger port.

Workplace Charging:
Workplace charging is a great way to attract like-minded forward thinking employees to your company. It gives your employee’s piece of mind, so they can stay focus on their daily tasks and not worrying if they have enough “juice” to make it home.

Common-use Public Charging:
Public space charging is a great way for a company or business to attract EV drivers to your store front. Many consumers now are looking to support sustainable and eco-friendly businesses.

Under California State law, property management or the HOA must allow their occupants to install charging units. However, Condo, Town Homes or Apartment style EV Charging can be a challenge for multiple reason. It is highly advised to consult with New Leaf before you purchase an EV, so we can inform you of all potential costs associated with your charging installation.

It is also advisable for the occupant to speak with other community members to see who else is interested in Electric Vehicles. If multiple parties involved are interested, it would be best to bring this to the attention of the property management so they can properly develop an EV charging plan.
